Michael Thomann was appointed Senior Ethics Officer in September 2013 at the Sikorsky line of business within Lockheed Martin.  In this capacity, Michael is responsible for overseeing Sikorsky’s ethics and compliance programs, including managing the network of Ethics Officers and Adjunct Ethics Representatives. He is also responsible for coordinating investigations, facilitating ethics communications, and leading training initiatives to further strengthen the compliance environment.

Prior to this assignment, Michael was the Global Ethics & Compliance Officer at Otis Elevator Company and held various finance positions at United Technologies Corp. prior to Sikorsky’s acquisition by Lockheed Martin.

Michael began his career with the Big Eight public accounting firm Arthur Andersen & Co. and held finance positions at Duracell, Inc. and Photronics, Inc. prior to joining UTC.

Michael received his B.S. in Accounting from Babson College and an MSL in Corporate Compliance at Fordham University Law School.  He is a Certified Public Accountant and earned the designation Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) from the Compliance Certification Board.
