Adam N. Vasquez, J.D. is the Head of Quality, Regulatory, and Health Compliance at Google. Professor Vasquez is leading Google’s transformation into the medical regulated space as his team navigates digital health and wellness products through new areas of regulation that are developing in real-time. This includes novel Software as a Medical Devices (SaMDs) that are compatible with consumer electronics. Professor Vasquez has spent the last 15 years in the wireless technology and digital health space, spanning multiple industries and regions. Coalescing when he began leading the teams that secure and maintain global compliance for consumer electronic hardware and medical devices at Fitbit.

Professor Vasquez will be teaching the Health Care Compliance course at Fordham University and is also an adjunct professor of Business Law at Menlo College. Professor Vasquez enjoys volunteering for his local wilderness search and rescue team and is active within Google’s ERG for Latin cultures. Otherwise you’ll usually find Professor Vasquez with his family and friends somewhere outdoors.
